What he said. My last air ride seat was in my freight liner condo.......plenty of headroom. These are trucks, not cadillacs, although I did have an international pro star that rode damn nice.I like the idea dont know how well it will work with the head room in the truck

If you have any progress on this please post it, i have a terrible back and would love to do this to my truckWhat gave me the idea was a 10yo post in another forum that claimed to do it by using a National air seat base (made for a pickup, they have them for the 3500 too) and fitting up a factory oem seat to it. Figured I’d ask hear before experimenting. My back is getting old, figured I’d save the wear and tear on it as much as I can lol.

ltlhotshot-Air ride seat in a 2012 Ram 3500
The rough ride was wearing on me so I did a little Googling and found a couple guys that had modified an air ride base to work with their stock seats.www.tapatalk.com
Looks like that guy modified to make the bracket work. The seats in 2019+ are similar to 2010-2018 (I think they use same bases)...
This is a must do to keep the Mrs. happy.
. I’m talking with a few vendors on some possible solutions. Biggest hurdle so far is completely replacing the seats will remove the side airbags since it’s in the seats so I’m restricting myself to just looking to remount the Oem ones.Same here. Also curious if it will work with the air leveling, or will I need a separate air system…I hear you there. I’m talking with a few vendors on some possible solutions. Trying to tame the rough ride on long trips in my 2020 3500 and was looking at adding an air ride seat or base (to use the oem seats). Has anyone ever done this before?
