Hi guys, just joined the site. I just bought a 19 Ram 2500 Tradesman and I’m looking at either leveling it or a small lift and putting 35x12.50s under it. Leaning toward 20” Fuel Vandals for the wheels, but not sure what kind of back spacing I need to keep it close to the stock backspacing. I will probably add a set of pocket flares, so the wheels can come out a inch or two from stock, but not looking for them to stick out much.
Also not sure if I should be looking at the 20x9 or 20x10.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

9 inch wide wheel in a +18 to +20 offset will put the edge of the tire right at the edge of the factory flare.

Would this be what I’m looking for?
Is this the bolt pattern i need for a 19 Ram 2500.....8x165.1?
Are there any pros or cons to the 20x10 over the 20x9?

10" wide wheels will likely be a zero offset and will eat your fender liners without a ton of lift for the tire size.

Thanks for the replies. How does the tire pressure sensors work on these new trucks? Do I need anything additional regarding that with aftermarket rims?

Or keep them in your old rims and order some replacements from Rock auto. The ones I had on my 2014 Laramie work fine on my 2019.

They are going to charge you double for pulling the old tires off of the old rims and you won’t really save anything.

Suppose you don't have flares? What offset would be appropriate then? Thanks!

Same. They will just stick out a little. Flares don’t affect the rubbing on the wheel well liner and control arms you will get with a 12.5” wide wheel with more than +25mm offset.

With a 2” leveling kit in the front, does anyone have any idea how much offset I can get away with and not have any rubbing issues?

My last truck was a 07 Ram 2500. I had a 2” level, 18x9 wheels with +18 offset, and 35x12.50r18 tires. Didn’t have any rubbing issues, but edge of tires didn’t quite come out far enough to be even with the outer edge of the bushwacker pocket flares I had on the truck.
Sorry for all the questions, but there’s not an abundance of pictures from owners of the 2019’s yet that shows different setups with aftermarket wheels/tires and different offsets.
Still trying to figure out exactly what offset I need for the look I’m after, without running into rubbing issues.
If I put a set of pocket flares on the truck I’d kinda like the edge of the tire to be close to the edge of the flare.

Elephantrider, thanks for the pic. That looks to be about what I’m looking for. Are your tires just a little outside of the fender?
Are your tires 35x12.50’s?
What’s the offset on your rims?

The 2019s fit tires/wheels exactly like the 2014-18s. Exactly. Find those photos and go from there.

@Marshfly could you put a 17” wheel on the 14-18s? I looked today and the caliper on my 2019 2500 is freaking close on the stock 18x8s... I thought the 19s changed but maybe that is only for the 1500s...

Ok thank you. Any drawbacks in that case to a 17” over an 18”? I like the idea of more sidewall with the 17s but I bought the truck for towing not over landing, so if I take a hit to tow capability I’d stay 18”...

I don’t know that it makes a whole lot of difference. I have 18x9.5 in a +12 offset. I think it is just about perfect, but they say the best offset for max tire is +18 to +25, I won’t be putting 35s on it until I wear out the stock tires. But man it looks a hell of a lot better than stock this way.
