After off roading (engaging 4x4)

Predominantly Noticed it this past late season hunt and then again this weekend but, have noticed it the past as well. Not particularly hardcore off roading either. When starting the truck and shifting out of park into drive it’s noticeably louder. Mind you the truck typically warms up for 5-6 minutes before driving but really only notice the noise after using 4WD Offroad and then again in 2WD for a few drive cycles. It seems like it either goes away or isn’t nearly as noticeable.

Transmission: 8–Speed Automatic 8HP75–LCV Transmission


Also electronic shift on the fly transfer case.

I wouldn’t say it sounds extremely loud or anything just noticeably different.
