Adjustable pedals question

Two questions:

- First, I've got a 2019 Tradesman without adjustable pedals. How hard is that to swap in? I can buy the pedal setup and switch pretty easily. Is the truck wired for it or are there some harness parts missing?

- Second for those that do have these. How does the range compare to the non adjustable ones? I have long legs and short arms. When I move the seat back far enough so my legs fit I can't reach the steering wheel. Generally a telescoping wheel fixes that but appears on the Ram its the pedals that move. So my question, is compared to the non adjustable ones, does the range give you any extra distance? Or do they only get shorter (towards the seat) from there? Not sure if they would even help me.

I'm coming from an old (1998) 1 ton GMC and while the Ram certainly drives better, I find the driving position uncomfortable. The whole relationship between the seat, pedals and wheel makes it not nearly as nice to drive as my 25 year old truck. Looking to see if the nicer pedal setup might help.

Thanks in advance.

Not sure if this helps you, when the pedals come back towards the driver they rotate upwards a little. The first pic is for reference of where I measured from between the driver seat rails. All the way forward to all the way back.IMG_3150.jpegIMG_3151.jpegIMG_3152.jpeg

That is actually very helpful thank you. I get about 20" on my regular pedals. Which means the adjustable ones will only move me closer, not further away....which doesn't help me a darn bit. A telescoping wheel would be amazing but doesn't seem like an option. Anyways, thanks again, that got me what I needed.
