Adding Safety Group to HD?

I'm trying to assemble an exhaustive parts list that will encompass all future options I intend on adding to my 2020 Tradesman 3500 -- I don't want to buy a new part to add ABC, only to have to buy a different one later because I decided to add XYZ.

Next up on my list of options I am researching is the Safety Group. My truck did come with Blind Spot and Cross Path Detection (which is currently not working and a new module is on backorder through warranty ), but I would like to add the other features from this group at some point:
  • Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop
  • Adaptive Steering System
  • Auto High Beam Headlamp Control
  • Full Speed Forward Collision Warning Plus
  • Lane Keep Assist
  • Rain sensitive windshield wipers
  • Rear view auto-dimming mirror
There is a detailed write-up for the 5th Gen 1500, but the parts are obviously going to be different and perhaps the procedure would be different as well. @Jimmy07 mentioned in a reply there that for this upgrade the HDs would need a steering gear box with torque overlay module. That sounds like an expensive and a beyond-my-abilities type of install. And I can't seem to find the HD part number for the most expensive part listed in the 1500's parts list, the DASM. So, is adding these features even feasible on an HD?

The DASM for the HD is 68462656AE. The steering torque overlay is 68507900AB. Lane keep assist needs the 12” screen with the switch for it (or radio bezel for 8.4 radio). 12” screen for diesel- 68370849AB. 12” screen for Hemi- 68423810AC.
ACC steering wheel switch- 68365332AB
The DASM handles auto high beams.
Auto dim rear view mirror- 68325128AA
Bracket to mount DASM to mirror- 68338659AA
Rain sensor- 68298334AA

Is the steering torque overlay just used for the adaptive steering and keep lane assist? I'm assuming that everything else could be added and enabled without it? Although with having DRW, it would be nice to have the truck help keep itself between the lines. But I think $1600 is more than I'd spend now just to nudge the steering wheel if I drift a bit. But, maybe down the road I'd add it...but for now, the other safety features are more on my mind.

Correct, the steering torque overlay is only used for adaptive steering and lane keep assist.

You might want to look into trading upto a new truck that has the options you want. Your trade up here anyway is worth more than what you paid for it and the money its going to cost you to add the options you want even if you can, you may be able to move up, just a thought good luck

That's what my wife tells me! Lol... But I enjoy tinkering around doing these minor upgrades. I just retired and I'm relatively young so I need something to keep me busy in order to stay sane and to not become a couch potato.

A quote I heard that stuck with me is, "The heart is happiest when the hand and mind work together". For me, it's such a true statement.
