Adding heated seats to ‘22 Tradesman

I’d like to upgrade to heated front seat in my ‘22 2500 Tradesman. I’d like to find OEM switches to maintain a factory look on the dash. Does anyone know where I can source those switches, and what the part numbers would be?

I think they are actually controlled using the uconnect system and the switches tell uconnect to turn them on. You'd likely need the 8.4 screen, alpha obd along with the seats and the truck side harness of its not already there.

I don't think you'd be able to add the factory option after the fact. You will have to wire them up separate on their own harnesses off the battery.

So I am picking up my 22 tradesman on tues and it did come with the uconnect 5 with the 8.4 screen. I don’t know if the wires will be there for the seat heat or not yet, but would I be able to install the heating pads and then just control through the uconnect? I’d rather not add any switches if I don’t have too.

Adding heated seats after the fact you are much better off just going aftermarket with a switch. You are missing many parts, (modules, wiring, enable in bcm etc). Its not a simple plug n play to add oem after. this is why it is so much better to just order the truck with the options you want.

Do you have Auto climate control? I updated my bezel for ATC and have Heated/Vented seats & Heated Steering, which I did not enable as I don't have them but, willing to swap with you.

The climate controls are an individual unit though, only sold as the whole bezel!?
