My trucks steering feels very loose at highway speeds with a 6inch lift and 37's. I've had the caster checked several times. I have a steering brace and steering stabilizers installed. I was under the impression that adaptive steering is supposed to tighten up the steering at higher speeds. Is there anyway to adjust this?

I think the adaptive steering works opposite making the steering not so heavy because of the weight and assists, from what I have read. Lifting 6in and 37s at highway speed may compound this effect , more air under truck , tire tracking ruts. I,d get a front end guy to look at it, might be the way its going to be, might be alignment , I,m putting a level in mine , don,t have it yet, so no hands on experience just an opinion, but I would like to know your conclusion thanks

Use a quality suspension like Carli or Thuren and you will find out why they do not have 4'' or higher for these trucks for a reason. Lose ground clearance after that point instead of gaining and steering/driveline geometry is what you are encountering. Spend a little more money and pick function over form.

Do you mean lane assist?

Adaptive steering and Lane Assist are two different things.

Adaptive Steering provides extra power at low speeds. Some say it changes ratio but I'm not certain that's the case. I know in my Audi, it's just "boosted" and can be disabled (many do) by pulling a relay.

I wasn't aware these have adaptive steering, lane assist yes.
