Acoustic treatment

Hi all,
Has anyone attempted to leave the HK 17 speaker system stock but do a complete acoustic treatment (sound sealing/deadening) to the vehicle to try and smooth out the frequency response of the system? Only had the truck a few days but the gaps in response are quite noticeable.

Second to that I see some have gone with aftermarket direct replacements (infinity) and I’d be curious to know thoughts on that as well...
