A little detailing today

Got some correction compound and with a crap load of elbow grease i was able to get a pretty good shine on the girl. This was all by hand, no powertools. But I'm in the market for a polisher now. Did the roof too, that was no small feat in itself

Thanks, I'm planning on hitting it again with the compound, then using the P4 polish to try and bring out a little more depth. It turned out nicer than I thought it was going to. The chemical guys stuff is pretty nice compared to some of the others I've used in the past. I'm thinking of using the GTechniq Exo and CSL ceramic next. Not cheap though.

Not bad at all. Porter Cable makes a great polisher that is perfect for newbies. Autogeek is a good resource as well for information and products.

Nice! Paint correction takes time and effort. Not an easy task but the end result really shows.

Looks good. I also use the Chemical Guys products and find they are pretty good for what you pay for. Far better than what you can pick up from your local store and probably middle of the road of other products available. Did you use a sealer/wax as a top coat? I have become a fan of the Meguiars Ceramic spray wax (blue bottle) mainly because of how easy it is to apply. Will last 3-5 months with my truck siting outside all the time and you can apply it in about 30 minutes. As far as polishers go I purchased a Griots garage one years ago and really like. Overall, its good quality and is perfect for the weekend warrior. Once you use a polisher you will not do a paint correction by hand again, great investment...... your shoulder will thank you.
