Hey guys so 3 times this evening I started my truck and it came up saying 4wd disabled, sway bar disconnect disabled, abs disabled, to disabled. I just bought this truck just over a week ago. What would cause this? We did get our first decent snowfall since I had it but if I'm going to lose 4wd every time it snows well then I'm really going to regret this purchase. Any help guys? This is an off road truck seriously a snow day can't be leaving this thing disabled.

Edit - I should mention after turning the truck off and then back on it did go away till the next time I turned it on.

Sounds like you are channeling your inner Griswald:p. Seriously though hope you get it figured out. These things are a big-0-pile of wires and sensors and when the
‘’magic pixies’’ get angry it’s never good.

New truck?

Open the fusebox cover and press in every fuse. Every. Single. One.

Check ALL underhood grounds for tightness. Check them again.

Do you happen to know the location of the grounds? I'll check the fuse box in the am. Is there an interior fuse box as well? I doubt the problem would be there if there is one but electrical does funny things lol

Honestly, not sure on the PW. The 3500HD doesn't have any interior fuse box so I believe none of the HD trucks have one.

There are grounds along the fender lip and there are of course engine and battery grounds.

Based on owner reports/issues, it seems every truck off the line needs fuses seated and some have loose grounds.

I'll check that out on the next nice day.
