You wont have any issue with the proper ballast…. I have an older Fisher HD2 7’6” with side plates and there is no issue i often dont use 4x4 when on flat ground2020 2500 6.4hemi crew cab.
Wanting to put a fisher xv2 with the 9’6 blade. Wondering if anyone has this set up and how it works?
Pictures would be great but more interested in how it pushes snow and if it is enough power still.
Yes i believe it is like 1040 or something. You wont have any issue with the proper ballast…. I have an older Fisher HD2 7’6” with side plates and there is no issue i often dont use 4x4 when on flat ground
The truck hardly knows the 800lbs plow is there, the one your looking at is the 1000lbs model correct?
Love that yellow! You'll be good with that plow. I run the 8'6 XV2 with no issues. I can't imagine the extra foot of width adds all that much weight to it. I don't have many photos of it, but here is is on my 2018 2500.

It makes a tight path but fits mostly, i am gonna be upgrading to the 8’6” stainless or the XLS soon i am just being super cheap and on borrowed time with the old HD2Love that yellow!
I may get the stainless 8'6 blade. do you do any commercial plowing like residential or business or just for personal use?
Some have told me when in v mode the plow does not clear enough for the truck to pass through?
