8 or 10 Speed Auto to be delayed to '23?

I am getting the feeling that the updated transmission behind the Cummins is not going to happen for '22, does anybody know different?

Welcome to HDRams.

This has been discussed ad nauseum in many threads here.

2022 trucks are still using the Aisin behind the HO and the 68RFE behind the SO.

Don't expect anything until perhaps 2025. It will more than likely be a ZF Powerline 8-speed.

Thank you for your reply, I am new to the forum and did not find a recent reference to the subject. I was expecting it in '23 as a result of random media mentions in earlier months of 2021.

Random media clickbait sites are reporting all sorts of inaccuracies.

Search here for Powerline or Allison and you should find plenty of reading material.
