71in Cross Over Tool Box

What size cross over tool box are you using? My bed across the top measures 72in so I have been looking at 71in width boxes. Let's see your pictures!!!

This is what I used, it's a Protech I ran on my 89 Ford. They list the same part # for both trucks, which worked out great. I just gave it a good clean up and polish and it fit great

I popped into the forum this morning and I found this thread looking for the same thing - I want to mount a cross bed tool box on my 2500 for just a little bit of extra storage. Is there anything out there that (ideally) doesn't require cutting or drilling? I was looking at the buyer's gull wing box but can't find any information on install instructions. Thanks in advance to anyone that has any suggestions.

Thanks. I'm assuming that you cut out the little plastic rectangle on top of the bed frame and these go through that part and clamp on to the underside, is that right?

No, most boxes have slots in the portion that sits on the rails and the j-hooks will grab the edge of the rails.

I used these, they've been on 4 years and have remained tight. I check them now and then since I use my truck on logging roads a lot.
