Just picked up my 2021 Ram 2500 Bighorn Crew.

I ordered a screen protection glass kit for the 8.4" uconnect screen, but looking for a solution for the 7" drivers info screen. Has anyone found a good protection film or glass for the 7" drivers information screen? I find this can scratch easily when cleaning (from previous vehicles I have owned) so would like to find a protection film to apply to it if one exists that is precut to exact specs?

KYKR is the way to go. I have the 12" version, as do many people on this forum do.

I believe he is talking about the info screen in the dash, behind the wheel as he already covered his 8.4".

You may have to go custom on that one. It isn't a touch screen so after you get PPF for the front end ask them to slice a piece for the info screen.

I have never seen a screen protector for the EVIC. And since you never have to touch it I'm not sure there is a market for one so you are going to have to do it yourself. Going to be tricky with the curves it has in it. Mine is 5 years old and still looks brand new so not sure it's worth the hassle?

.

This reminds me I still need to put on my 12" protector. I not sure how well one would work for the Evic. It would need to be one of the softer types. Maybe XPEL or similar would work.

Not sure what the point of a cover for the EVIC would be since it’s not a touch screen and it’s behind the IP plastic anyways.

ive been running my 8.4 screen “raw”, no issues. I don’t hate the idea of adding a screen protector for an extra layer of protection, but it’s not like a phone that is prone to scratches from other things in your pocket or getting dropped.

Thanks for all the responses - I ended up just custom cutting some 3M vinyl wrap that I had laying around. I found that in my last truck, the plastic screen covering the EVIC would scratch easily when cleaning, so IMO it's just an added layer of protection. I'm pretty picky when it comes to maintaining that "factory new" appearance!
