I have a 2024 ram 3500 4x4 with the 68rfe transmission. I preformed a transmission service and replace the trans pan with an ats deep transmission pan. I installed all parts in the kit and now the transmission functions flawlessly from 1st gear to 3rd gear. When the truck trys to go into 4th gear I get p0734 4th gear ratio incorrect and p0933 pressure control solenoid b preformance or electrical issue. Does anyone have any advise or ideas on what to do

Check out TSB 21-012-25.

I have a 2024 Ram 3500 with the 68RFE as well. Except for the fact that I didn't do any transmission service, I had similar symptoms at least initially. I lost some forward gears (may have actually been 4th), then ultimately lost all gears. I had P0876, P0734, P0841, and P0868.

Trucks built between 6/14/24 and 9/4/24 had a quality issue potentially resulting in a rear selective thrust washer failure. It resulted in a complete transmission replacement for me. Mine occurred at 2000 miles...

The TSB is incredibly direct. If the truck was built in that date range and any of the codes in the list is active (P0734 is one of them) it just goes straight to replace the transmission.

Maybe you have something different going on, but I'd start by checking your build date.

Had a similar issue with my 2024 RAM 3500 w/ 68RFE transmission. Mileage 7089 lost acceleration, received check engine light and DTC(s) P0868 (Trans Fluid Press Low) and P0731 (Gear 1 Ratio Incorrect). Dealership is giving a bit of the run around and growing frustrated after over two weeks w/o my new truck. Initially dealership shared a transmission replacement would be needed and planned to proceed; however, now saying Stellantis requesting a complete teardown before they can authorize a replacement. In my assessment, the science experiment prosecuting a design problem can be done after they replace my transmission; however, we are now at 2+ weeks following tow to dealership and they have effectively done nothing. Any recommendations from this forum would be greatly appreciated.

Have you verified your truck was built on or after June 14, 2024 (MDH 0614XX) and on or before September 04, 2024 (MDH 0904XX)?

If so, I'd print out the TSB, take it into the shop, and ask them to follow it. The TSB clearly states 3 qualifiers: 1) the vehicle was built inside the build window, 2) the MIL was illuminated, and 3) one of the relevant DTCs is present.

After those are verified, they should get on with the repair procedure, which is to replace the transmission.
