First post, hope I’m in the appropriate forum, please advise if not.

Anyway, preparing for a valve body upgrade, so I’ve been watching line pressures closely so that I’m informed after the install.

M rig is a 2017 SO Tradesman. I’ve recently started running the ‘standard transmission’ tunes from calibrated power/duramax tuners.com.

Specific question is…. These tunes are calling for a desired line pressure of 180 at times, but actual never seem to exceed 160. Could the stock valve body be leaking enough to be the limiting factor? Or is there another potential limiting factor?

Truck has 67k miles, runs and operates as it should. Just taking some proactive steps to prolong the life of the transmission.

It wont ever hit 180 with a stock VB 160 is the max there is no bypassing if you are hitting 160
