2016 Ram 3500 6.7 105,000 miles
Against my better judgement, I took my truck in for the 67A emission recall because everyone I talked started having DEF system issues after about 100k (ie SCR, & O2 Sensors, DEF pumps & injectors mostly) and the 4/48k warranty may help me if I had an issue.
Of course following the 67a Recall software update the Auto Temp, A/C,Radio controls and all the buttons/light switches stopped working (luckily the A/C, Heat & Radio still work from the Radio & Steering wheel or I’d really be screwed). The check engine light also came on (P20EE.) about a hundred miles after the 67a software update And it has gone on and off 3 times so far. I took it back to the dealer and it’s there now. Of course I’m in the Florida Keys on vacation pulling a 20k+ 5th wheel with a 1,500 mile trip home coming soon. I’m a Retired Automotive Engineer and I’m sure RAM will rectify the issue. But when the 67a Recall update was done to the Engine & Trans modules it corrupted the A/C & Radio controls module. For some unknown reason because it was working fine before the update. This is something that can happen during any update to any networked module. I don’t think I’m the only one with this issue either because the A/C & Radio button controls are now on national back order (1UJ97DX9Al).
Hopefully this will work out, the dealer is very good here. But they have very little control over part availability. I will update everyone on what this turns out to be and how long it takes to fix it when the repairs are complete and I get a chance to drive it a few miles.

What a mess. Hopefully your vacation isn’t completely ruined. I just left that area, very nice.

Add me to the list, I just picked up P20EE after getting the 67A recall 939 miles ago. It isn't my DEF quality; I always test the DEF before pouring it in.
