6.7/68RFE and 6.7 HO/Aisin

I know you can't "feel" the difference in trannies, but, can you really feel the difference in the two motors?
I have the 2500 with 68 tranny and now have the option to buy a 3500 with HO/Aisin tranny but it is in another state. I might not get to drive to feel the difference before commiting to sale.
Both trucks have 3.73 gear.
Is the power combination quite different?

I know.....sounds strange, but I am in Wichita and truck is near Denver.
