Looking under the hood of my 2020 3500 with 6.4 I see the vacuum line running from the engine to the brake booster. There is a tee in the line close to the engine that goes to some round device near the power steering with a check valve in. What is that round thing?

Not sure how to post pictures, but I did more research looking for a vacuum pump and found this.
2020 RAM 3500 Laramie 6.4L Hemi V8 4WD Pump. Vacuum. Electric pump only, pump only - 04581991AA | Mopar Parts Overstock, Lakeland FL
So for what ever reason Mopar must feel a vacuum pump is needed, possibly to supplement the engine vacuum. I didn't think of a pump, but this is the first gas truck I have owned in 25 years.
