5th Gen trailer TPMS in 4th Gen?

Just out of curiosity, is it possible to add the trailer TPMS to a 4th Gen RAM at all? Would this take changing the BCM to a 2019+? And wiring of course.

Has anyone tried this yet? Would be great to get some feedback.

I’m not going to say it’s impossible, but it’s not practically possible with the cascade of things that need to be swapped out in order for it to work.

IMHO, not worth the trouble.

I added it to my 2020 and still only use my aftermarket Tireminder system.

The OE systems doesn't show tire temps... doesn't allow "disconnect" mode, etc.

really, I would have thought having it in the OEM display is nice, but seems like maybe not. Thanks for the rearld world feedback!
