Good day everyone! so i just wanted to confirm. But is it Alcoa that provides the factory aluminum wheels for 3500 and up? I thought i remember it being on the build website when i built my truck back in 2022. The dealer has no idea..... obviously. If they cant read it from a pamphlet good luck. and i cant seem to find any markings on the wheels themselves. havent taken them off either though. Reason i am curious is Alcoa has a 60 month warranty for bubbling/chipping which my rears are certainly doing, and the fronts are starting. So i was looking to put a claim in.

Not sure on the 19.5's but my '22 3500 has made in China Mopar branded wheels. I think the real alcoas on the 3500's were phased out a decade ago

i see no offical alcoa markings on them so you may be right, it would make sense that they would go with some cheap chinese mfg

They are not alocas and even if they were the ones sold to RAM were not able to be covered by Alcoa from what i was told talking to my Alcoa sales rep a few years back

good to know! i guess it makes sense they would go with an overall cheaper wheel. On a side note, its funny how desperate some of these dealers are to make sales are around here.... however the pricing there providing is disgusting, and acting like its a fantastic deal.

There are two styles of 4500/5500 wheels - the Alcoas have 8 holes and the shoulder of the holes are a squared off profile. Those were the early trucks, I think up till 2020 roughly? Not positive. Here's one of those:

Later trucks have the not-Alcoas and have 10 holes with a chamfered edge profile to the holes:

In both cases the bolt pattern is 10x225 so you could put a set of the old Alcoas on a new truck as far as I can see.

FWIW, I needed to buy two extra of the new style and I found them on eBay as A grade insurance takeoffs for like $350 each. Dealer price was around $950. They were as close to mint as mattered especially since I had them blasted and powder coated.
