I just happened to go to the Ram build and price with a family member to help them build a truck and noticed the 50 gallon fuel tank is no longer an option for the 2500s, it’s still an option for the 3500s… Curious if anyone else has noticed, or knows when they removed it from the 2500.

Its still on there on the Ram Canada site right at the bottom of the options section

Was it a long box truck you were looking at?
Yes, crew cab long beds in all trim levels, the only way to get the option to show up was to go to a 3500…

The first photo is a screenshot of a 3500, the second is the 2500IMG_3091.jpegIMG_3090.png

I too have been a bit disappointment that Ram has been eliminating options that they previously had available for a reasonable price. In 2023 I could have added the 7'' EVIC dash for a mere $75 to the 3500 Bighorn I ordered. On the 2024 I ordered, I would have had to spend a few thousand more for a trim package I didn't need to get it and opted not to. The 3.5'' EVIC just looks cheap and dated (my 2019 F150 XL work truck has a bigger screen). Part of me thinks they may be pairing down options to eliminate overhead stock for a re-design coming soon but who knows.

That 50 gallon tank is no joke. This weekend I drove from Mark Dodge home to Wisconsin and only stopped once for fuel.

I'm happy with my Titan aftermarket tank. It's too bad its not a factory option, but there is definitely still an option!
