Picked up my PXL after installing 4.44s, used JScan to change the diff ratio and everything is going good. There are a few occasions when accelerating onto the highway where it’ll stay in 5th well beyond needing to which it didn’t do before. Wondering if I should do a transmission relearn or let it ride? It’s not causing any issues just hangs in 5th for 5-10 seconds when it doesn’t need to as I’m up to speed.

And yes, the gears with 40s are awesome. Really glad I spent the money on doing it. It was a slug off the line and decent once it got moving but now it accelerates much nicer as you can imagine. I’m sure the 68 is thanking me as well.

I’d let it ride for a bit and see if it relearns on it own. Glad to see someone finally able to get a gear swap done! I haven’t looked for gears in quite awhile but were these the AAM 4.44’s and did they drop right in or require “mods”?

We did Yukon fronts and AAM rears as that’s what the shop could get at the time. Both dropped in very nicely they said with minimal set up.
