3D Printed Truck Bed stake pocket plugs

Starting a thread for this as some expressed interest in the what-did-you-do-to-your-ram-today thread.

Anyone is free to pull the STL and use/sell as desired (non-commercial). I'm not ready to start offering these just yet myself as I'm still working through the final tweaks and designs and only have a single 3D printer, no farm here.

It's in the thing notes, but I know I'll get asked; In Prusa Slicer, I used a Height Layer Modifier and changed the top infill pattern and also block/slab/disc modifiers and ironing.

READ THE THING NOTES. The center pocket is larger so the plug needs to be sized up to 101%. Check your fit before you print too many... I'm using Sunlu PETG and it has very little shrink.

This is a work in progress, just the STL files are up there right now, more files coming. I added the Fusion 3D CAD files.

Nice! You gonna add Brutal to the top?

Use cura and click on fuzzy in experimental. Flip the model over and use tree support. You will get a nice textured finish to match the rails.

See notes above. I ended up figuring out Height Range modifier (layers, etc.) in Prusa.

I use Prusa and it has fuzzy but only does walls. I printed this with the top on top and no supports.

I'm still thinking if I want to emboss something on the top or not, and what that might be. I could throw on some gun logos I have handy from making vinyl cut stickers, a Rams head, etc. but then they're just liable to get get dingy even with a ceramic coating on them.

I'm printing a prototype of my modification right now. I shortened it overall and put a chamfer on the lip to try to match the pocket better.

The Cummins one is very cool. The flag design is nice too, but im seeing too much of that everywhere... seems overplayed these days.

Flag has both Driver and Passenger side files so it flies true.

And you don't see that huge C everywhere?

The more the merrier.

How's about just a Ram logo.....help the gasser crowd out too....
