37s and a 35” (or even stock size) Spare?

I’m considering going from my current 35” tires to 37”, but I need to keep a spare mounted in the stock locatIon. My assumption if I have to mount the spare is that 1. Don’t use 4W Low, 2. I should be fine because the differential will allow for the difference in circumference.
Are there any other concerns? I don’t see needing traction control or abs in this situation so the computer shouldn’t interfere. Is there anything else that the difference in tire circumference would impact?
Thanks!

Mount it in the front and you’ll be fine. ABS and cruise control may deactivate if the size difference is big enough.

I’m In That boat. Waiting on the last two tires too arrive so I can install but, going from 35 to 37 and leaving the 35” spare under the truck. Upgraded the steering stabilizer as well.

A 35x12.5x20 is the largest tire that will fit under the truck. 34.6 diameter tire^. Tire must be deflated to 20psi to fit then can be aired back up after it's up. To get it back down you lower the cable then start kicking or prying it down.

I'd find some way to protect the face of that wheel. it would be surprising for it not to get torn up down there. My stock steel spare has a lot of rock chips.

It's a junk wheel. Paid 100 bucks for this limited wheel since it's beat up prior to me. Works perfect to have a close as possible matching spare for my fuels.

Ahh ok. In the pic it looks shiny and new. I'd hate to see someone buy a matching 5th spare for 5 tire rotation and then beat it up.
