Those of you rollin with 37's where is everyone mounting their spare? Looking for ideas. Will probably move away from the stock spare due to the amount and distance offroad I spend both work and play. But open to thoughts and suggestions.

I thought I had seen someone get to work in stock location but i couldn't find anything in the search. Thanks

I don't carry mine full time, just a tire plug kit. For now, I just ratchet strap it down when I'm going offroad. I've been toying with the idea of installing a gooseneck setup, and making a custom spin on mount for the spare in place of the ball hitch.

My 3500 Cummins is still on order, so I haven't had a chance to look at it, but has anyone been rerouting exhaust to be able to fit a 37 under the bed? It sounds like the exhaust heat shield may be the biggest obstacle? (Again, idk because I don't have one yet)

The only way a 37 will fit is if you can deflate it and ratchet strap it to the size of a 35". A 2500 will never fit a 37 because if the track bar and sway bar but to a me a 3500 would have an outside chance if finessed correctly.

I'm going to crawl back under this weekend and have a look. I have a set of 37's on my old pick-up. I'll do some measuring and see if the ole 3500 can be coaxed into accepting it.

I ordered suspension, wheels/ties and replacement bumpers. So I have been waiting on a few parts to arrive to kick this whole build off. So I haven't spent a bunch of time taking anything down until all the stuff is here.

The hitch is also an issue, Taking a grinder to it to shave a little off will be something I'm sure that will need to be done.

I am going to get the wheels/tires mounted together and balanced so I have something to work from while I'm waiting for parts.

I think even with a 3500 you're still going to be limited by the 910mm between the frame rails, not the distance from the diff to hitch plate.

Googling 910mm.....35.82"

Oh. If that's the case, that does seem like a hard stop.
have been interested in seeing if it can actually fit underneath. almost 36" of space if you can mount deflated and compress with a strap to fit. Of course have some method of inflation, but would get you where you need to go in a pinch. dont know if feasible or not. will wait to see if @loveracing1988 has any luck
