360 Trailer Surround Cameras

Hello,

Does anyone know if the 360 Trailer Surround Camera (12 pin) will only show onscreen when a trailer is also connected to the 7pin connector?

I tried connecting the camera system to just the 12 pin connector without a trailer connected, and could not get any of the trailer cameras to display, even though the icons appear on screen to select.

This is for a 2024 3500 Limited

Yes, I tried the same thing and mine did work. I have the 5th wheel package, so it only works on the 12 pin located in the bed. The bumper mount I would need to unplug the box mounted connector feed cable and connect it to the bumper from what I understand.

With the 5th Wheel prep, there will be a 12-pin camera connector in both the bed and on the rear bumper. Only the bed is connected from the plant. If you're using the bumper connector, you will have to move the BODY cable that's behind the license plate area form the BED connector to the BUMPER connector.
