Hello everyone! I was hesitant of putting some new tires and wheels on with stock suspension. After some research on here and custom offsets gallery - I took the dive. I ordered Venom Power X/T 35X12.50 and Moto Metal MO970 20x9 with a +18 offset. No rubbing and speedometer did not need to be modified. Tires line up nicely with the fender flares and I love the new "more" aggressive look.

After the first test drive, there seemed to be major vibrations 45+ mph. I have balance beads and after 2 days the vibrations seem to be going away. However, I ordered some hubcentric rings to hopefully eliminate all vibrations.

Thanks for posting. I've been going through the same process and have the same size / offset combo on order. Your pics confirm that I'm going to be happy... if my wheels are ever delivered.

Great combo. I have a white night edition without flaires but I am thinking I want something more than a fully blacked out wheel. Machined edges on some wheel are looking good....just too damn many options.

That looks awesome! How do you like those tires? Road noise and ride?
Some of the guys at my work have them on their work trucks and say they are noisy and they haven’t gotten great wear out of them. The place they got them put on at put the E loads on instead of the F load and I think that could be the issue for the wear as we drive Ram 2500s loaded with tools and replacement parts. Or it could just be their driving habits

It took 15 days from me ordering the wheel/tire set from custom offsets for them to be delivered, pretty good IMO. However, I'm on week 10 of waiting for the BDS 3 inch lift.

Yeah - the amount of options are crazy. My buddy has some fuel wheels with the same style. To me it came down to price - ~2k for the package.

I love the look of the new tires - much more aggressive than stock. The road noise is louder over 30 mph, however, if the radio is on, the sound is minimal.

I have the E load/10 ply as well, but put them on last Wednesday haha. So hopefully no wear yet. I have noticed the "death wobble" and hopefully the hubcentric rings will arrive this week to counter this.

I think the main problem was that the E load in the 33x12.50x18 is only a load index of 118 for the trucks at my work. In your 35’s you are at 121 on the load index so I think you’ll have better wear. I really love the look of these tires and the price point is great too! I’m just trying to totally convince myself of going with them when I do a level kit lol. I don’t want to hear the woman complaining about the noise….. but maybe she wouldn’t drive it then

They look great. When you say your speedometer didn't need to be to be modified, I'd guess your saying the differnce is so slight it's not worth adjusting? It would seem there would have to be a slight difference with the taller tire

figure you can offset some of the cost by selling the old set as well. i have a buddy who helps me put everything on, so that also helps with cost. random plug from him - he has a youtube channel and will be uploading the bds install. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_GfzBneR2JqJyapaz6YIXQ, or channel "be shifted" if you don't like clicking links from strangers haha!

and yeah - if the noise is to loud for the lady... maybe it can be a hidden benefit as well haha

i downloaded a speedometer app and it was spot on. got on the highway up to 65, hit cruise control and the nav gps, speedometer, and app were all showing the same thing. this is the one thing i hate about tires - the "very generous rounding". the tires shipped at 35 psi and measured about 34.5 inches unmounted. the OEM tires measured 33/33.5 mounted (285/60r20, so pretty true to the advertised measurements). so guessing i lost an additional inch or so when mounted.

Thanks for the info. I've been wondering whether to get a calibrator at the same time as tires or wait and see. I think I'll wait and see
