3500, Rear Leaf Springs with and w/o air suspension

I think I know the answer to this but still wanted to ask. Are the rear leaf springs on a 3500 (dually) the same regardless if you have the factory air suspension or not?
Part of me is thinking they'd put less progressive springs on if air bags are added but then again maybe the same springs across the board.

No, I believe one leaf is removed from the Airbag equipped trucks. @gimmie11s has one, he’ll tell you how much he loves it.

From what I have read the only difference is the airride trucks don't have the overload spring, which also causes them to sit lower. I unfortunately can't confirm firsthand since my truck hasn't been built yet.

The spring packs are different… air trucks have less leaf springs than non-air.
