35’s rubbing

Ok good Sirs,
Need some dumbass advice. Got 23 PW. Got 35’s and fuel rims on it. Just added AEV bumpers fore and aft and now have rubbing when I cut the front wheels hard over. AEV and my truck shop suggested heavier springs vice the soft OEM.
What are the pros, cons and theoretical soundness of this fix?
Forgive my ignorance.
 
So the issue is either the rims or the bumper that's causing the rubbing. I've run several different brands of 35s on the stock beadlock rims on my PW and never had a issue rubbing. And I've stuffed the tires all the way up in the fenderwell.
 
Hmmm..My 35's look small on my 19 Powerwagon, I have a 1.5" leveling kit, can I put 37's on it with no rubbing?? I'm sure this has been answered on here, but I'm new to the forum.
 
Biggest factor will likely be wheel offset. I ran 35x12.5r18 tires on my previous Ram 2500 on stock wheels, the only rubbing I had was at full lock on the radius arms. Lifting or even lowering it within a 10" travel window to the stock front bumpstop will have zero effect on rubbing the radius arm. The next factor is the tread width of the tire, since it is usually the corner of the tread that will rub...
I also ran the same tires on some raceline wheels with 15mm positive offset. Absolutely zero rub in that scenario, including some serious offroading... FWIW, my previous Ram's stock 18" wheels were 57mm positive offset, my current Ram has 20" wheels with 54mm positive offset...
 
Keeping the stock wheels, Should have stated that. So 37's on stock wheels with a level kit.

They're going to rub unless you use spacers (probably shouldn't), or replace the radius arms and sway bar with aftermarket "high-clearance" ones.
 
35s will likely do the same unless you run “skinny” 35s, like an 11.5” wide. Even then there may be some minor rubbing.
 
No, I have 35-12.5-17 Hankook dynapro MT 2's in it now. They don't rub at all. They actually look small on the truck, lots of space between top of tires and fender wells. That's why I asked about the 37" fitment. Seems like there's so much space they'd clear no problem. Just from appearance anyway.

Measure.
 
You will need a wheel with a +20 offset or similar. CJC offers many wheels that will work with 37s and minimum rubbing.

Your 35/12.5 aren’t rubbing the radius arm or sway bar?

The wheel well itself isn’t an issue until you get to 37s usually.

I don't know where you get that information but I've been running 37 KO2's for two years. No issues. Thuren 1.5 coils up front.

What specs on your wheels? How about some photos? I am planning on possibly getting those same tires...

You must be the only person on stock wheels without spacers running 37s without sway bar rub then. Not sure what kind of magic you've got going on. I guess it could be that the KO2s are really small actual size compared to other 37s.
