I currently have a 2006 2500 BH long bed with a 90 gallon, 30" wide auxiliary tank in the bed. I just ordered a 2022 3500 DRW Laramie long bed with the Max Tow Package and 30K 5th wheel hitch.

Does anyone have the same setup on their 4.5 gen or does anyone have pics of the bed of their truck showing the hitch in place and the puck levers open to see what the distance is from the front of the bed of the truck to the lever? I want to move the current tank over, but not sure there is enough room for clearance. If it won't fit I am going to let the tank go with the truck and buy one that will.

Thanks for the help!

What is the height of your Tank. Below the top top the offset from the top of the Bed?
My hitch is a B&W for the Puck system. Here is a couple of Picks. First is 1.5" Back from top of Bed. Second would be your 30" to end of Tank. Lever handle position is open. Facing Fwd. Hope this helps. I think you will be fine.PXL_20220331_183356703.jpgPXL_20220331_183310531.jpg

@G Mcpherson It is a toolbox/tank combo and is 23" high, so it looks like if I leave a 1" gap like I have now between the top of the bed and the front of the tank, I'll have 1" to spare. Any chance you could send me a pic of the hitch in relationship to the front of the wheel wells whenever you get a chance?

I appreciate the pics and measurements - you sir R DA MAN!
