3 Capped Wire Harness on Passenger rear side.

Hi All,
There is a wiring harness on the passenger side rear of my truck that has 3 capped wires. The one is the break light wire to wire a third brake light on a cap which is what I have done. RAM Engineering youtube page says the other wires are battery and acc power only if you have auxiliary switch package (which I do). I hooked up to test and I didnt get any power with the truck off or with it on accessory. Anyone use these? I want to run a 12 volt to my bed using these to avoid running a whole wire all the way from the front. Anybody familiar with these? I may have had a bad ground but I had a alligator clip straight on the frame, so may try that first but decided to post in the meantime.

Ok so got some pics. It's 3 wires 2 are more like 18 guage, one is the third brake light which is white with purple stripe other is red with white stripe and last one is 16 or 14 guage and it's pink with red stripe. Attached are pics of location on passenger rear by spare tire.

The blue wire tap is not normal. The factory does not use these. Something weird is going on with that group of wires.

That's for my truck cap. The place I bought it installed it and I haven't changed it yet. That's the third break light for a camper shell wire.

Those wire taps/splices are junk and frequently damage the wiring. Your cap installer should know better. I suspect the other two wires are for AM accessories.
