Looking to put a set of 295/70/18 on 18x9 +20 Fuel Blitz, trying to decide which AT tire to go with. Don't do any off-road driving but good snow performance is a must and occasional towing, nothing super heavy. I love my current set of OEM size Wildpeaks but with the A/T4W being a heavier tire combined with the larger size trying to figure out how much the increased weight will affect mileage and overall drivability. Other tires I'm considering are Toyo AT III and Cooper AT3 both of which are 8-10 lbs lighter than the Wildpeaks. Will the added weight be a significant difference? Anyone have thoughts on the better winter and wet road conditions between the Toyo and Cooper?

I currently have Cooper AT3 XLT’s. I’ve had Wild Peaks many times. I can tell you for sure that the Coopers are a smoother and quieter tire. They are both 3 peak snow rated but the Wild Peaks are better in the snow. As far as wet and icy conditions they seem to perform the same. I’ve never had the Toyo’s

I didn’t see if you have the Cummins or Hemi but my guess is if it’s the Cummins you shouldn’t see any effect on performance or mpg with the weight difference. If it’s the Hemi I wouldn’t think you’d notice anything performance wise but you may see a small mpg hit.

Thanks :) for the info on the noise comparison between the Cooper and the Wild Peak.
