Have any of you installed a 24v alternator in your Ram or at least know of an available 24v alternator that fits in the existing location for the second alternator in the dual alternator option?
I have a 2021 Power Wagon with the dual alternator option. I'm researching removing the second alternator and replacing it with a 24v alternator to power a LiFePo4 battery bank in my Tune M1 camper. It would operate independently of the existing electrical system. I've seen kits that work with vans (e.g., Sprinter, Transit, ProMaster), but haven't seen a kit for a Ram 6.4L engine. I guess a second question would be whether I even need a kit, since there is already an alternator in place. I wonder if I could just use the alternator they are selling without the kit and drop it into the existing bracket I have.
