Can someone that has put 35" tires along with what size they put on confirm that there is no modifications needed for a 35x12.5xR20 tire on the 2023 Ram 2500 Rebel (Cummins)/
Pictures of this setup (on the Rebel specifically) would be great as well as I don't want them to stick out to far as well which is an issue someone brought up.

My OEM DuraTrac's are getting down after 31,000kms and are getting slick in wet conditions like I read they do once the siping get low and want a new set before winter hits.
The OEM's were fantastic in the winter which is why I'm considering the the newer DuraTrac RT's which from what I read are a better on road tire which this set will be my winter set on my OEM wheels as I will get aftermarket wheels this spring.
They added a stronger sidewall and change the side tread as well.

Would love to know this answer too!

As a follow up to my thread…

I am actually exploring the exact same idea of using the new Duratrac RT on the stock 20” rebel rims. I would be putting on the same dimensions requested above in 35x12.5xR20
I THINK it will work but tire rack says it’s not a correct size for this tire and I don’t know anyone who has ran this tire on stock 20” rims.

The Duratracs actually do a really good job of balancing highway road nice and comfort and mpg with great off road and snow performance which is what I need so the RT seems like the right move. I like the Rebel’s 20”s and think this tire might be the best move for me. I will have a 2” level so doubt it rubs but want to make sure this tire actually works on the stock wheels without issue.

I see you haven’t received the answer you’re looking for in nearly a week so I’ll help best I can.

35” tall won’t be a problem but the x12.50 may cause issues on stock wheels. I suggest turning the wheel and measuring what kind of clearance you have on the fender liner and the radius arm. Something in the 11.5” wide range is probably safer. 285/65-20 should be 35x11.50 ish

You may be totally fine but I can’t tell you for sure without measuring. Many people, myself included, run aftermarket wheels with larger tires so it’s hard for us to help you directly because we have different wheel specs

I just ordered some Toyo AT3’s in LT295/65R/20 for the stock 20” rebel rims. When they come in and I get them mounted I’ll let everyone know how it goes.
And here they are. They look much better to my picky eyes.

There is the slightest of rubbing at full lock. I cut the wheel back and forth to check and took a pic of where the dust gets brushed off. It’s like this on both sides. Doesn’t rub anywhere else.

I will put some miles on over the weekend and give a review of highway and around town driving characteristics.

Thuren/Fox 2” lift getting installed this week as well and will see if that gets rid of the rub.
