LimitedTrim trim do you have?
I guess what meant to ask was 2500 or 3500? Air or non-air?Limited
2500. Air. First air ride I have had in the 2500.I guess what meant to ask was 2500 or 3500? Air or non-air?
I've had mine for 2 months and still can't believe how light the steering is. I get in my wife's Grand Caravan and immediately think the steering is broken, LOL.Short time reader first time poster. I can finally justify a 3/4 ton truck. Land, family, tractor. Have always been partial to Rams for full-size and 3/4 ton trucks but wanted to give a fair shake/look at of the big three. Test drove a F250 XLT with the PS 6.7 Saturday. Steering felt really heavy. Infotainment screen was decent. Thought it was really cool you could have Android Auto/Apple Carplay going AND have a camera turned on for your hitch/bed cam in a separate tile next to it.
Test drove a High Country today and a Limited Longhorn this morning. I tried to be impartial but I really liked the interior/ergonomics of the Ram. For being the highest trim level Chevrolet is living under a rock. The heads up display was really cool....but that's it.
I asked them to price one to my specs, really just want the trim level with an 8FT bed and goose neck prep already done. I can only find the 6FT beds. One I drove was the megacab. Nice amount of storage but I want the 8FT bed. Waiting to hear back on price. The price they quoted me this morning was far under MSRP and the dealer cam well recommended online/word of mouth. ETA for delivery was Feb-March. I can wait that long as I plan on driving it for 10-15 years.
May put money down this week.

Whats the deal with them? I see people reference them all over. Do they market like crazy or are they just that good to get a deal with? I feel I got a good deal on this truck. Put a deposit down today. Fully loaded, 8ft bed, Limited Long Horn.Id always recommend getting a quote from Mark Dodge to compare. Logistics sometimes makes the long distance purchase feel like a lot of extra work but the savings could be huge vs a local dealer. Good luck on your purchase!
Just like you mentioned, our local dealer, who we buy from and have bought all of our personal/ business cars, truck and work vans for many many years, has always treated us very well. For grins, before ordering the 3500, I priced it with Mark Dodge. Their price was almost 4K less! My dealer matched it. Even if they had gotten a bit closer in price, I would have still bought local as it was along drive to LouisianaId always recommend getting a quote from Mark Dodge to compare. Do you have the 3500? I wanted the 50gal tank. Website says you can have it on the 2500 but my sales guy said i'd have to upgrade to the 3500.Just like you mentioned, our local dealer, who we buy from and have bought all of our personal/ business cars, truck and work vans for many many years, has always treated us very well. My understanding is that you can have the 50Gallon tank with the long bed. This new 3500 Dually and my previous '21 3500 SRW both have the long bed and 50 Gal. tank. The 3500 with regular bed only gives you 36-37 gallons, exact number escapes me.Do you have the 3500? I wanted the 50gal tank. Interesting, wonder whyYea I ordered the long bed. Was still told it was only available in the 3500. First world problems.
Interesting, makes no sense. For us, pulling a 16.5 pounds 5th wheel, I want all the fuel I can get. A buddy of mine pulling a similar camper with a Ford F-450 long bed, he has the, I think 49 gal. integral tank, and he added a 50 Gal. tank on the bed of the truck.I just texted the sales guy I spoke with. Maybe they changed it in 2026 model? It says you can do it on the website.
Edit. "2025 it was only available on the tradesman and bighorn trims" So guess there is something the Limited cab/frame that blocks it from fitting.
Love it. We are probably a bit older than you, married 47 years, one daughter, JD tractor with cab, 89 acres lol. You do need that 3/4 ton, tell your bride I agree with youWe dont have a camper...yet. Coming from a Frontier thats been really good to me. But married, four step kids, three dogs, 48 acres, 70 HP tractor later...."babe...WE need a 3/4"![]()
They are active on this forum pretty heavily helping with order questions and timelines for model years etc, no marketing from what I've seen just strong sales through the US and a lot of happy forum customers. They were the best deal I found when ordering my new truck and was well worth the drive down to LA for pickup but they will also ship them.Whats the deal with them? And to add to what Jmonty said, I believe Mark Dodge is the largest volume Ram dealer in the country and why they cut such great deals. Really wished the 50 gallon was an option on the mega cab from factory, its next on the upgrade list as companies start getting more options to market.
Your guess as good as mine. Ours worked almost immediately, but once it said it was built, it went dark and never got another update. It doesn't seem to be very accurateGot my order number. They placed the order Tuesday. How long before the tracking of the build works?
