Purchased new in August and currently has 2417 miles on it. From previous posts, 1st regen was around 1000 miles but there's no indicator that it was in regen, went through regen, only indicator was dpf gauge back to zero. Again, when that happened, no clue. Just recently, toggled through dash gauges and noticed dpf indicated 30-33%ish. Took a 16-18 mil trip to get groceries and with the dpf dash gauge on the scene, I watched the gauge slowly (very slowly) going down past 25% to about 15-18%, then stopped while driving. Got groceries thinking regen was done since gauge didn't move anymore. On the way home, truck sounded as normal and gauge never moved off 15-18% on the dpf gauge thinking regen didn't restart to finish the procedure. During that slow decline in the gauge, I heard, what sounded like a slight diff tone in exhaust as others have mentioned during the regen procedure. Get home, park truck and shut er off. Later this afternoon, restart the truck and CEL pops up, truck doesn't have any throttle response as it was acting like limp mode. Go 2 miles down the road, pull off to the side of the road, shut truck off and was getting ready to call someone. Restart truck and no throttle response issues. Acted like nothing happened but CEL still on. I do drive around town and windy roads constantly with exhaust brake on to save on brakes/rotors. Is this causing some of my issues or is there a service appt at my dealer in the very near future? My other 6.7s (2007.5, 2014, 2020) never acted like this one does and my driving style with exhaust brake has always been activated with my other trucks.

Yes on the fuse debacle. Ran into a diff problem towing my boat. Boat trailer led lights were flickering/pulsating and after 3 trips, full tank of diesel, 354 miles round trips and 15.5 hours of my life I'll never get back, ITCM was bad( let's not bring up that nightmare). During the self diagnosing, was told to check all the fuses and BINGO, every stinkin one was pushed in 1/2 way which didn't fix my trailer issues. Yes, they are all in as should. That's why a dread the thoughts of another trip or 2 or 3 back to the dealer for this new issue.

Go have it scanned at the dealership.

Without any indications of active regen you aren’t able to fully differentiate active vs passive regen just by watching the DPF gauge.

Read about it going through my trailer module issues that someone said check your fuses and make sure it was seated all the way. Well, not only the trailer fuse but EVERY fuse in the panel were not seated and pushing in all the way. Every stinkin' one

So I’m picking up a 2025 Laramie diesel 2500 I. A few days. What is the fuse issue, first I'm Reading about it.

Thanks
It’s a very common issue for some odd reason. Check the fuses in the box under the hood, most people find that none of them are fully seated.

I'm going to guess that that second regen never finished, BUT with that low miles and DPF gauge where it was, it seems odd that you had the throttle response issues. I agree with the advice above on having it scanned for any codes.

Well, saga continues. Driving down the road, NO trailer hauling or connected and trailer connected light pops on. WTF? On dash panel, I get an error message "service trailer brake system. What could possibly else go wrong with this truck? 3000 miles and looks like trip #5 to dealer.
