I am towing a 17.5k 5th wheel with an 2400 hitch weight. Do you think it will sag the 2025 Ram 3500 as it won't have air suspension? My other option is to drop down to the 2500 that I can add the air suspension.

I prefer to keep it stock, but don't want a sagging truck.

Thank you.

That much hitch weight is at or over the payload of most if not all of the 2500’s especially equipped with the Cummins so you’re looking at at least a 3500.

They just opened up that option. SRW 3500 with air suspension.

Thank you for catching that. Do you know if there is a way to tow the fifth wheel and also have the ram box?

5th wheel towing with ramboxes is difficult to setup. The issue in the bed is so much more narrow so most any solution will hit the inside of the bed on turns.

The Gen-Y may be a solution, but a lot depends on the height of the trailer (when level) as well.

I don't even think a Reese Goosebox has the clearance to get it done.

2500 "air" is not accessory air, it replaces the coils with bags. You'd be overloaded, and possibly trip a MIL.

2400 hitch weight wouldn't be a thing for the 3500 air or not. The non air trucks have a heavier leaf pack and have more rake when unloaded, but are going to be similar with that little pin weight.

If you've weight a 17.5K GVWR 5th wheel with only 2400 pin weight, you're running TH with toys or must have a very light loadout.
