I just bought a 2025 2500 6.7, has rear air suspension. Today at only 800 miles the passenger side airbag didn't want to inflate and sagged the ass end, service air suspension light came on, got it towed to the dealership, waiting on word of the issue.
It does have a BDS 2in level kit thats specifically for rear air ride suspension, and upgraded fox 2.0 shocks with Nitto Ridge Grappler 35s. Kit is posted for reference. Shop that installed it also works with every Ram dealer in my city, said there's no way that it affected the bags. And to have the dealer call them if they give me any ****.
But looking into forums I'm seeing a lot of posts about the headaches of air suspension. I didn't want it on the truck but it came with it. I found a delete kit that goes all the way up to a 2024, I'm waiting on a reply to see if that kit will work to delete air ride completely and comes with programming for the sensor faults.
Has anyone had issues with rear air suspension? Would a proper level kit specifically for air ride cause a bag to blow? (Not sure if it's blown yet, might just be a sensor)
And has anyone deleted their air suspension? Heres the delete kit:
