In an effort to protect my truck paint from UV rays, tree sap, bird droppings, etc, I applied a Clay Bar kit and Ceramic coating. Given the truck is practically new I would have thought this was not needed. I was wrong. The Clay bar kit made the paint EXTREMELY slick by removing any contaminates on the paint---a GOOD hand wash with hot water will NOT remove everything.
I did not realize that the truck needed this. The Clay kit is recommended BEFORE applying a Ceramic coating.
Has anyone else dealt with Clay Bar/Ceramic?
