Do the new 2025's/26's have this forward collision nanny braking system? I am curious if it actually activates the brakes. My wife once had a Volvo with this and it was very annoying and almost caused accidents. I am curious because I'm looking at them and I have heard that they now come with this, and to me thats a negative. Thanks!

The window sticker on my 2026 order says “Full-speed forward-collision warning plus” what ever in the hell that means

I can confirm that my 2025 3500 drw has this system. I was driving in the pasture the other day and a cow decided she didn't want to move as fast as I had anticipated/encouraged her to and the truck screamed at me and activated the brakes. It can be toggled though.

Thanks for the info! I love the fact that my current truck has no automated helpers. These computer controlled systems are increasing and being put in everything now and making me want a new truck less and less.

Like stated it can be turned off if needed, but I've had to many of these idiot brake checks that seem to be increasing year over year I leave mine on. Anything to help, and I am super excited it now handles pedestrians. Had a lady staring at her phone walk strait through a 40 mph intersection once and barely avoided making her a hood ornament.

I wonder if there's any trim level that its not on? Or is this now a standard across the lineup.
It’s standard on all 2025+ Rams. It can simply be turned off if you don’t want to use it.
