2025 Cummins teardown

Heck of a video. Lots of changes in the top end and valve train. Rockers, push rods, lifters have improved oiling (he kind of glossed over that fact even though you can see it in the video), different intake manifold, improved front cover gasket, injectors, fuel rails, introduction of glow plugs, new "CP8" (*cough* CP4) pump running at or over 32k psi.

Interesting stuff indeed.. thanks for sharing.

Look at the level of soot in the intake runners on the head and in the intake manifold…. To much EGR use!

I drove my friends 2025 DRW 3500 today. They are really nice to drive, is it enough to trade my 2024 wit the AISIN? No. His truck has the air suspension, deployable running boards, and sun roof. Otherwise my truck and his are the same. His payload is 4569 and my payload is 5393 - glad I don't have those options!

I do like all the new tech however.

Drw with only 4569 payload?? Maybe he has 50 gallon tank ? Sounds very low even for a limited drw.
