Hey y’all, been lurking a few months now I think. Made an account in the last week or two to be able to open attachments and what not in all the awesome insight I’ve found thus far.. so thank you all for what you’ve contributed already. I guess I’ll say ‘sup now that I pulled the trigger on a CPO ‘24 2500 Tradesman Level 2 + Power Wagon Package, was a lease return with ~4,500 miles on it when I picked it up.
I’ve been around Ram’s, the Mopar brand, towing, camping etc. pretty much my whole life. So just glad to upgrade to something that meets my needs. I’m big on wheeling, hence the Power Wagon Package.
I’m not a blue collar guy day to day, but I do more truck stuff outside of the 9-5 than most I’d say.
My last rig was a ‘21 Gladiator Rubicon Ecodiesel which was pretty sweet. However, it had limitations in the cooling system and the valley I live in is just too damn hot. Beyond that, I have short and sweet commutes to work… that’s a death sentence to a modern diesel so after 34,000 miles I cut my losses on the current rig. The 6.4 isn’t running on dreams, but I’ll live. It can’t tow as much as a standard 6.4 truck, but it can do wheel better and tow better than the Jeep.
Thus far I’ve gotten some sweet Amazon seat covers, a bulletpoint soutions rubigrid system and their branded Auxbeam AR800 Fuse box.
I’m waiting for NH Overland to send over mounting brackets for my ARB Compressor and the fuse box. I’ll also need to figure out a mount for my CB.
No plans for further mods, maybe some aftermarket headlights are in my future because the stock halogens are criminal for a truck with a sticker of $63k.
Anyways, happy to be here. Here are the pics you’ll probably ask for. I don’t have very many great pics yet.
