New to Rams, had a couple Ford super duty's both deleted and tuned. So just thought I'd give my first impressions.

First off the ride and comfort (seats) are outstanding. The power seems more than enough to do all you would need under any situation, I know, I know, we all want more... Visibility, mirrors, buttons, all good and easily accessible. Overall very pleased with it.

Now for the negatives, or should I say the things I'd like changed or improved. The AC, the AC needs to be better. The amount of time spent on max AC to get the cab cooled down to comfort is atleast 30 minutes and then to maintain that comfort I found I leave it on fan level 5, it's just so loud and seems to be working harder than any other vehicle I've owned. I also think the brakes need some work, just think they need some more stopping power. I know it's a big heavy truck, but it's not my first, they just seem underpowered as well. With that being said, we call that being nit picky lol, not a big deal just my observation.

Now for the things that I would have liked to have had, that aren't on the truck and more than likely are available but on a different trim level or whatever. Bed lights, bed step of some kind to get into the bed, and telescopic steering wheel. I just don't see why bed lights (a couple $5 lights) aren't standard on all trucks, especially on one that it's msrp is $85000. And to put that into perspective, that is 5k more than the first house I bought....

Overall pleased with the truck so far and looking forward to putting it to some work in the near future.

I have almost 10000 on my 24 Rebel gasser and my observations are almost identical to yours. I do have a the factory bedstep, and it works exactly as it should. I don't know how anyone climbs in the bed without one lol! I also have the bedlights, and they aren't worth anything really. I ended up getting some motion activated stick on closet LED lights off Amazon and sticking them under the side rails. Works way better!
(I don't know how well this would work if I didn't have a tonneau cover though)

Poor AC cooling is due to USA made trucks getting the green environmentally (aka cr ap) 1234a or 1234 yf freon where trucks from MX still get the older 134a freon

For the AC issues.... Window tint would work great to help that AC. I'd go with a high quality ceramic like Llumar. Even if you go with a 70% VLT it will not look obvious and it will be hardly noticeable if laws prohibit. The cermaic will stop a lot of the Infrared rays= heat from coming through the windows and heating the interior up. That way your AC only has to work to cool the cabin back down. Otherwise, like when you get in the truck now, your AC is trying to cool the cabin down and overcome all that Infrared heat being absorbed by your dash and interior wherever the sun in hitting..
It will be way more comfortable for you as well especially when your on a drive and the sun is shining on you. You will see the light but won't feel much heat when it's on you. Makes long road trips so much better...

Just my thoughts...

I have 20% tint, it's 15% darker than legal here. Also have about a 8 to 10 inch strip on windshield. It helped for sure but I doubt it's anything special like your talking about (ceramic or vlt).

I’ve had a 2019 1500, 2022 2500, and now a 2024 3500… not voluntarily, but due to need and finally a lemon law swap. 3 trucks in 5 years is nuts!

Anyway the AC in the 24 is by far the best of the three and I’ve got no complaints. Not sure why it performs better than the previous 2, but I take my wins where I can get them.

If I was you I would take it in to the service department and tell them something is definitely wrong and it needs to be fixed. I'd guess it needs the freon level adjusted or the recirculation door isn't operating correctly.
As far as the HVAC working hard and being loud, you could try the cabin air filter behind the glove box. A lot of people say the K&N helps with flow and it's washable and lasts a lifetime. I don't have that K&N one yet but I do plan on getting it when the one I have needs replaced.

No A/C cooling issue in Florida with Ceramic Tint on all windows. I keep my Auto thermostat on 69 degrees. I also keep a sunscreen in the windshield when parked to keep the dash cool. I usually remote start and within a few minutes its totally comfortable getting inside even on the hottest days and no problem staying cool ... Tint works.

some of the ac stuff i think has to do with the controls. when i replaced my radio with a aftermarket radio that had everything built into it the ac got colder, and blows stronger.

at least thats been my experience and others with radio swaps as well.
