2024 ram 2500 Rebel HD - making cab lights on all the time

Is there a way to get the cab lights to be on every time truck is on? Right now they turn on with headlights only (in the dark).

Searched the forum but don’t find anything

No, but with some creativeness like finding the wire in the a-pillar that supplies the harness and supplying it with a key on 12v source that will do the trick.

Ah okay - thank you! I was hoping that I can just do it with alphaOBD or jscan. Finding the wire shouldn't be too bad though.

What's wrong with running DLR's anyway?
I even have it set that the headlights go on with the DLR's, better chance of someone seeing me and not turning into my path...

True, but it's an easy solution to your problem.
Although, thinking about it, I really can't say if the cab lights are on when running with DRL's. Need to check that tomorrow ;-)

I have DRLs set to my turn signals and the cab lights are definitely not on then.
