Hey all. I'm new to the group and new to the diesel community so this is my first 2500 and my first Ram. So my truck did not come with the Auxiliary upfitter switches and I am looking to add them. I have found kits online from Mopar parts that comes with the PDC and instrument panel along with wiring for it. I already know that the instrument panel won't work with my setup as I have front/rear park sense, tow/haul mode and diesel exhaust brake buttons, the one in the kit os a bit different. I've found the right part with the upfitter switches on them. My question is will the other components work on the 2024 as I can only find it up to year 2023. And yes I also know that I will need to have the dealership flash the ecm to add the auxiliary switches options. I have attached pictures of the parts I have found and have questions about.

I was looking up the parts for the 2024 Hemi Rebel. No diesel brake in the dash, so it's a different switch panel. I also found this piece, not sure if it applies or is needed, but it does say it works for 2024.

@PatrickBrooke If you have a diesel that kit won't work for you as you already have the Aux PDC, you just have to add some wiring to it. See the thread here: https://hdrams.com/forum/index.php?threads/diy-add-aux-switches-to-19-ram-2500-laramie-6-7l.13229/

@justpassinthru That kit is just the wires that connect to the aux ports to attach your loads to. You still need the switches, PDC, and all the wiring. You can use the kit @PatrickBrooke screenshotted above, or if you want to go the "extreme" method (I don't recommend this unless you just like doing crazy stuff), see my post here: https://hdrams.com/forum/index.php?threads/aux-switches.97/page-31#post-335210. The rest of that thread has lots of other alternatives using 3rd party PDCs instead of the OEM one. Those are much cheaper methods.

@jsalbre I saw your mod a while back, and I liked it a lot. Very smart. I've modified all kinds of equipment, but I'm hoping to keep this one completely OEM. I searched for the PDC for a while after I first got it and Mopar didn't have one in the system. I got my '24 in 11/23. I need to go back in and find it now. (It took them months to start offering the correct switch panel.)

I know that i already have a PDC in my truck i am using that Auxiliary PDC to provide me with the fuses, relays, and wires and stuff that i'll need to make the AUX switches work. Kind of frankenstein the 2 together to get to where i want. What i really need to know is which connector under the dash is X/Y 125A. I have seen a picture of a cad drawing of it's location in another thread along with a parts drawing of it. I'd like if possible an actual picture of it in of its location under the dash. Any chance you could help me out with that? I'm going to go the route of pinning the 6 wires into X/Y 125A. But I'm not worried with running the other wires back to the back of the truck. At least i don't think i am.

Replied to you in the other post, but it’s the one with yellow tape.
