2024 doors not closing correctly

Good morning guys. Just bought a 2024 Cummins crew cab short bed Friday.
Yesterday when my wife got in, the door wouldn’t close all of the way. She opened it and we looked to make sure nothing was impeding it(which it wasn’t) and then she got it to close. You really have to close it hard to shut fully whether from the outside or inside. No other truck I’ve had was like that.
I hope this is isn’t a sign of what’s to come. Honestly, I miss my 2015 Silverado that I trade in and would trade them back in a heart beat.

My old Chevy had much tighter steering and handled better I feel. My new RAM feels like you’re slightly a baby side to side while cruising down the interstate. The Chevy didn’t have that. I will say the RAM rides better on irregular surfaces and has way more power. Of course my Chevy was a 6.0 gas too.
 
My '22 was like that when new, but over time they got easier to close, im assuming that the door gaskets took some time to settle in

I didn’t get in and out of the passenger side door. Doors not closing properly on a new truck isn’t a problem that I have ever suspected or looked for.

But if you drive it then you know how it handles and you were complaining about that in your post.

But you can find one similar and test drive it particularly if you have never driven one like it before. There is ways around it if you want to.
 
Could it just be cabin pressure along with new door seals?

Was it doing that with another door open? (*)

Check to make sure the vents in the back of the cab aren't stuck shut.

(*) don't open doors on opposite sides in the wind... if you didn't already know that.

I thought about the cabin pressure. I’ll have to try it with another door or window open. Thanks for the advice.
 
I didn't think about air pressure either...haveing the same issue on my 2024. Will definitely try...

Brutal - what are these vents? I'm going to look for them today...

Back of cab behind the seat. You can see them from the outside between the cab and bed. Not sure how accessible they are with the seatback folded up, I've not bothered to look.

If I’m spending 50-125k on something, I’m going to go over it with a fine tooth comb and make sure that it’s what I want, does what I want and handles like I want. I’m not a sucker for flashy things however I know most of you are.

You’re not wrong. It’s ok…call me a dumbass…I’ll own it.
But you haven’t contributed anything useful or productive to my post/questions.

Once again thats what warranty is for. I did not even drive my truck i know how they drive i just paid for it and left.
