Strange issue, but the liner on my driver’s-side front wheel well keeps coming loose.
For some reason, the liner on that side does not tuck under the fender trim as all three of the others do. The dealer has just given me the “nothing to see here, they all do that” answer.
The problem isn’t cosmetic. Twice now air has gotten underneath the liner and caused the liner to vibrate, which then pulls the single fastener out of the top center, which leads to the liner banging against the inside of the fender loudly.
Anyone else seen this? I’m tempted to just get another liner and hope for the best, but then I’m not sure if the tolerance issue is with the liner or the inside of the fender (metal body).
