2024 2500 Tradesman Interior tailgate release

Has anyone done this addition to a 2024 2500 tradesman? I purchased a console from eBay and a harness from a place in Texas but they haven’t provided any directions other than two wires goto down the a pillar to a connector (I have two there and no direction on which one to use) and a third wire goes to the c pillar and gets wire tapped to a white wire w/ green trace. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't have an answer for you, but I am genuinely interested in what advantage there is to being able to open your tailgate from the cab?

I had the feature in a previous 2500 Laramie that I had and used it often in my line of work, I do a lot of pickup and deliveries and some places won’t let me get out of the truck for safety reasons. And now using the key fob only I forget the key in my cup holder a couple times a day when I do get out of the truck.

Its nice when backing up to connect to a 5th wheel.... drop the tail gate then back up and hook up.
