Hi all, thanks for the add. I have about 5600 miles on my 2024 2500 and noticed since day 1 that the transmission likes to hold on to gears even under very light throttle before eventually upshifting. Especially prevalent around town and on minor grades and hills. Putting it onto ERS does not seem to change the shift patterns at all. Thought maybe it would work/learn its way through this as the miles racked up, but it has not changed. For instance, today I was going up a reasonable hill thats about 1/2 mile long and in a 35-mph zone and the truck held 4,000 rpm under light throttle and did not upshift until the crest of the hill. Might be completely normal for an 8 speed, but certainly not used to it coming from a 6 speed GM 6L90. Otherwise, the truck is awesome and so far, super happy with it. Any thoughts are appreciated.
